About BBSPEL
BBSPEL stands for Baby, Bright, Story, Play, English, Love — six words that capture everything we believe in: nurturing curious minds through stories and songs.
We started because we couldn't find what we wanted: simple, beautiful, musically varied English nursery rhymes built on Aesop's Fables. Most nursery rhyme channels are either visually overstimulating (flashy 3D animation designed to hold attention rather than teach) or musically one-dimensional (the same melody every time).
So we made our own. Every fable comes in 25–30 musical styles — from lullaby and classical to hip-hop, lo-fi, jazz, rock, and folk. A child can hear "The Tortoise and the Hare" as a gentle lullaby at bedtime, a lively pop song in the car, or a rap with a driving beat during playtime. The story stays the same; the experience changes.
Every song includes TPR (Total Physical Response) action prompts — simple movements parents and children can do together: "Hop like the hare!" "Slow walk like the tortoise!" This turns listening into a full-body learning activity.
